Photography has always been part of who I am and I love the idea of being a family photographer! One that watches families grow up by capturing them year after year. My mother passed along her creative genes and the medium I've always had a passion for is photography. When I was just 17, I had the opportunity to mentor with a talented local photographer and I’ve had a camera in hand ever since.

Portraits are truly my favorite and it's probably because I love capturing a person's eyes....." The window to your soul". There is something magical about being able to portray on film what I see in a person. Pushing the creative side of me to bring color, texture, and expression to my sessions is something I strive for.

I'm a small town photographer that works based on word of mouth. Keeping myself small will allow me to always love this art and so I don't advertise but am happy when someone refers a friend or family member based on a nice experience with me. I photograph Friday through Sunday so that I can manage everything else that's important in my life. I’ll shoot on location or in my small home studio in Carver. My portrait sessions are unrushed and that’s important to me. I want to get to know you, have children be comfortable with me, and capture what's important to you. Going at the pace of you and your family is crucial to a successful session. If you have a vision for a session I’m delighted to work with you to bring it to life.

I am married to a wonderful guy and together we have three handsome boys. I'm also a godmother to 3 beautiful children and you will often see their faces throughout my work. By day I work as a business analyst and I truly love that work too!

I'm happy to share my love of photography with friends, family, and anyone that’s been referred to me. There is nothing more rewarding to me than hearing your excitement after viewing your images! If you’re interested in a session, contact me in a way that suits you best (phone, text, email, Facebook). I use it all!

    Thanks for stopping by!

Great Game on Saturday but we loose by 2

We still go into the finals but Saturday was a loss.  Great day of photos for me though.  I tried out another new lens and this one was very fast.  Lots of photos with the ball in them during the play.  Look closely!!!

We play Quincy and Win 8-7

So we are now 1st in the league!  So exciting.  Quincy had a beautiful stadium and it was fun to photograph in a new spot.  The boys played a nail biter of a game.
